Nestled in the charming enclave of Belsize Park, Oliver's Village Café is a warm and inviting British café and restaurant that flawlessly blends comforting classics with a contemporary twist. This delightful spot not only caters to coffee lovers with a stellar selection that includes expertly crafted Flat Whites, Cappuccinos, and the intriguingly spiced Chai Latté, but also offers a thoughtfully curated menu that embraces fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The weekday lunch at Oliver's is a celebration of vibrant salads and hearty, flavour-packed dishes such as the Grilled Halloumi & Roasted Red Pepper Salad drizzled with a rich balsamic dressing, and the robust Beef Chilli Con Carne served with fragrant rice and a cooling dollop of sour cream. Weekend brunch becomes a feast for the senses with signature offerings like Oliver’s Breakfast — featuring two perfectly cooked free-range eggs, Lincolnshire sausage, and smoked back bacon — or the Veggie Breakfast, where grilled halloumi and roasted tomatoes create a succulent vegetarian delight. The kitchen's skillful balance of wholesome ingredients ensures every bite is bursting with flavour, from the sweet and moist Carrot Cake to the intriguing daily Pandan Cake.
The café exudes a cozy, laid-back atmosphere that invites you to linger, whether you're there for a leisurely brunch or a quick takeaway. Regulars rave about the friendly and attentive service, highlighting staff members like Fong, whose warm greetings make guests feel instantly at home. The spacious seating and well-lit interiors accented with local artwork add to the relaxed vibe — perfect for catching up with friends or even settling in for a focused study session.
Oliver’s Village Café also delights families with a thoughtfully designed kids menu filled with familiar favourites, such as fluffy pancakes served with yoghurt and fresh fruit or simple scrambled eggs on sourdough toast. This attention to detail extends to accommodating dietary preferences with ease; as one visitor fondly recalls, their lactose intolerance was warmly catered to with vegan pancakes paired with crispy bacon — a winning combination that went beyond expectations.
Whether you are drawn by the promise of a rich, aromatic coffee, a wholesome brunch that satisfies every craving, or a tranquil space filled with friendly faces, Oliver's Village Café stands out as a beloved local gem. It’s the kind of place where you don’t just come to eat — you come to experience the comforting embrace of a community café that truly understands the art of good food and good company.
What a cute lil find!! Lovely atmosphere, lovely area. Free parking on weekends after 1.30pm. So I ordered pancakes and told them I was lactose so they gave me the vegan pancakes with yummy crispy bacon..result! Kids sizes are decent also. Will def come again, lovely kind staff too. Oh yes and they have pandan cake, will try that next time. (Area was actually gorgeous)
This is the best café I’ve ever been to on so many levels. First of all, the space is light, cozy and welcoming. I came here to study for hours on end and always felt comfortable and relaxed. The service is phenomenal, attentive, and kind. I got to know Fong who always welcomes me with a smile and by name. Then there’s the food. I have tried many dishes on the menu and truly never have been disappointed, in fact, I was blown away by every single dish I’ve had. Highly recommend the halloumi, which can be added to any dish, but also the eggs avocado and salads all are amazing. The coffee is solid and presentation adds to the already amazing taste. I’ve also become quite infatuated with both the banana bread and the carrot cake. Carrot cake is a must try! All to say that this cafe is a truly special place and you must try it, very worth a visit (or many!)
Best breakfast/brunch I've had in a while! I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur of breakfasts, but I've had my fair share of Full English's. This was definitely among the better ones, but Oliver's does it for MUCH more affordable prices - and for their price, they exceed all expectations. It's tasty, and the portions are big. The coffee was average, but I'm more than satisfied by the overall meal.
I’ve been here many times and it never disappoints. Always the friendliest staff. Delicious coffee and breakfast. And nice big tables and comfortable seating. The local artwork is also really lovely.
, very quiet atmosphere. Lots of locals which is a good sign . Food was banging and very filling
My fav spot for breakfast in Belsize terrace. Lovely owners & staff, welcoming and cozy conservatory and environment. It's a place suitable for everyone: couples, small group of friends. Dogs and families with children are welcome too, they have tons of children books and pencil to keep them entertained. Seats outside on the pavement, or in the lovely conservatory inside (my fav!). Don't miss it!
Ordered the following via Delivery: - Oliver's Breakfast (£11.95) - Ham Sandwich, Gluten Free bread (£6.75) Review: - The Full English breakfast was well cooked, delicious and still warm after it was delivered. I was hoping for a slightly bigger portion size compared to other places that offer at a similar pricing. - The ham sandwich was decent especially with the gluten free bread which gives a nice crunch without losing flavour. Pricing: Very reasonable prices compared to other places. Portion sizes are decent, if they were slightly bigger it would be great.
First time having an English breakfast and the food was super tasty and very well served, also the capuccino was delicious! I loved it! The whole place is also very lovely and cute
